A cave where fruit grows discovered Barbarian's Touch. It is topped by part of the crashed sakh ship.
Description[]
The entrance to the cave is small and nearly completely hidden.
It is tall, honeycomb like cave, lacking a clear floor. It has layers and ridges along it's walls. Lila describes it like a fissure that had opened in the ground. At the base there is a bubbling hot spring, with pale blue water and striations of color along it's edges.
At the top there is part of the crashed sakh ship, which became known as the Elders' Cave, and a light flickers from it's surface. Other panels are still lit with different colors. A number of its parts and pieces lay among the plants.
Along the walls grows a large number of plants that cannot be found anywhere else on Not-Hoth. They are green and blue green in color. There are berry laden vines and other plants baring fruits. The plants have given the cave a light floral scent.
It is unknown if the plants originated from the part of the ship that crashed into the top of the cave or if the closed environment allowed plants from a pre-ice age period to survive.
Fruits[]
- Cave Berries: Relatively small fruit (golf ball size) that tastes like berries.
- Melon Fruit: Big yellowish-orange fruit that smells like peaches. The rind is thick and springy and bitter tasting. Instead of a pit, there is a soft smooth center that tastes like a cross between watermelon and spinach.
- Reddish Fruit: Sour and taste a bit like cherry. They are fairly big.
